Children’s Art Book Fair
The main goal of Children’s Art Book Fair Festival is to focus on children’s literature, which is valuable in terms of form and content, repeatedly published by small, independent publishers. This year we would like to draw your attention to a key aspect of the visual style of each book, which also carries a sense – A LETTER and TYPOGRAPHY. The Festival will include, among others, illustration and typography workshops inspired by interesting books, an exhibition “Illustrated Primer Design”, an old printing press from the Museum of Printing and Papermaking in Supraśl, specially designed areas for reading and creative fun and a book fair with the best Polish publishers. Jan Bajtlik will be special guest at the Festival.

Children’s Art Book Fair
This book fair will include beautifully illustrated books of more than 25 small, independent publishers, the majority of which cannot be bought in a regular bookstore. Moreover, they will be sold at very attractive prices and gathered in one place! Through the remarkable aesthetics the publications exhibited at the fair tackle significant and difficult issues not only for adults, but also for children: sibling rivalry, bereavement, war drama, cultural diversity among neighbours, illness, or the history of Modern Europe. We will present books which in an ingeniously simple way invite to talk about patriotism and ecology or human physiology. Also, there will be publications that may help parents familiarize even the youngest children with the great world of art, both contemporary and classical. We will introduce both new publications and well-known fairy tales and stories in new editions.
