Yevseviya Zyakina (Ksiusha) – resident artist of the Strong Together/Сильні разом program

In June, Yevseviia Zyakina, also known as Ksiusha, joined the Strong Together/Сильні разом artist residency. A native of Kharkiv, Ksiusha describes herself as a traveler between artistic media. Since the Russian invasion, she has shuttled between her hometown of Kharkiv and Lviv, where she sought refuge during the war.

Ksiusha’s work spans text, animation, playback performance, with a particular focus on authentic movement. Her workshops offer alternative perspectives on texts, painting, nature, cultural concepts, and poetry through movement. However, the essence of these sessions lies in deeply exploring one’s own emotions, both as part of a group and in solitude.
