Slow Art Day
How Long Do You Need to Look at a Work of Art to Get It? 8 seconds? According to statistical research, it is a time when an average museum-goer spends looking at each artwork. Is a museum visit a marathon, during which we wish to see all the objects available at the exhibitions?
Museums are to inspire, not to exhaust – that is why, join us to participate in SLOW ART DAY
Let’s meet on Saturday, 22 April at 12.00 and look at SLOWLY five selected artworks presented at the exhibitions: ‘Made in Blue Republic‘ and ‘Magdalena Dreścik. Hot and Cold. There’s no-one here‘. We will look at the works, think and talk about your experiences.
The action will be guided by our guides who will assist you in looking at artworks slowly. They will try to inspire you then meet over a cup of coffee or tea to talk about your experiences.
To sum up the action: come, look at and talk.
Enjoy Slow Art Day!
