Arsenal Gallery invites to a screening of films from JAPAN MEDIA ARTS (JAP) festival

Media arts is a Japanese festival focusing on various forms of expression available in the space between arts and entertainment, such as interactive arts, installations, graphics, digital photography, the net, games, animated films, video, comic, etc. All this spectrum is defined as “media arts” because the borderlines between forms and genres often fade away and it is hard to tell the difference between arts and entertainment.

An estimated of 2500 entries from 40 countries are sent to the festival. There are three stages of the festival: in Tokyo, one other Japanese city and abroad. Thanks to collaboration with other media arts festivals, the works from the Japanese event can be seen all over the world.
