Caroling with Julita Charytoniuk and the group Pracownia Pieśni

On December 21, Julita Charytoniuk and the group Pracownia Pieśni are organizing an evening of singing carols and pastorals at Augustas Serapinas’ exhibition “Pine, Spruce and Aspen” at the Arsenal Gallery power plant. Like vernacular construction, traditional carols are still practiced in the region’s villages. In Podlasie, Christmas is celebrated twice, and local carols in different languages tell the same stories. We invite all those who want to join in singing with us or listen to both well-known and forgotten Christmas songs to spend an evening with us.
