ART WASTELANDS 2016 – Agricultural land for lease
Free lease of green areas, lawns, patches of land near public art institutions, galleries and museums. Gardening initiative is addressed at viewers, the gallery audience, inhabitants, neighbours during Spring and Summer time. We offer a specially prepared patch of land by Galeria Arsenal power station for cultivation of seasonal vegetables, herbs, flowers, field and ornamental plants. The construction has been prepared in each location and is based on the idea of a raised flower bed, which will facilitate the work of the elderly, disabled or children.The project includes 5 participants.The land for a free of charge lease:Galeria Arsenał power stationul. The project attempts to reinterpret threads running through Polish contemporary art concerned with land cultivation (Julita Wójcik, Kwiatuchi duo) and the idea of sowing (Teresa Murak), as well as it will try to redefine the rules of social participation in the art field…
