There is – Not – There is! – a series of art workshops for Toddlers

Is art only associated with paintings on the gallery walls?  Or sculptures standing on pedestals? The tools artists use to express what they feel and think, to communicate with recipients, to ask questions are as varied as the diverse world of the artist her/himself.

Arsenal Gallery, ul. A. Mickiewicza 2, Białystok

The workshops will be carried out by dr Patrycja Dołowy

Free entry. Prior registration required.

Workshop description:

Do you know that art is sometimes fleeting? As a footprint left in the lawn, a toothpick tower or dance. Sometimes artists create works so that they would  disappear or would be destroyed. Consequently, they want to ask various important questions or draw attention to something.

During workshop we will explore and try to develop different forms of ephemeral art. We will use different tools used by contemporary artists. We will make a performance, create disappearing images and objects changing their forms.

The entries should be sent to the following address: j.bietkal@galeria-arsenal.pl.
The condition of entry will be done by listing names of the participants, who will receive a return message with confirmation.

Please bring extra clothes in case children get dirty.
