The lecture is one of the events following the exhibition "The Pure Tongue".
Walter Janusz Zelazny (born 1950 in Rzeszow) – a Polish sociologist and lecturer. He graduated from the Nancy 2 University in Nancy, France (linguistics) and doctoral studies, social geography at the Paul Verlaine University in Metz. He currently works as an associate professor and director of the Department of Cultural Anthropology, Institute of Sociology at the Faculty of History and Sociology, University of Bialystok. The author of "The Life and Work of Ludwik Zamenhof: Reception and Reminiscence – A Selection of Writings and Letters", which is not only the monograph of the creator of Esperanto, but also a thorough economic, political and cultural analysis of the society in the 19th and 20th century.
