to a meeting with Ada Karczmarczyk and her artistic activity within the frames of a cycle Family Workshops.

to a meeting with the artistic activity of Ada Karczmarczyk within the frames of a permanent cycle of Family Workshops.
Ada Karczmarczyk (born 1985) – multimedia artist, performer, blogger; in her work she connects three worlds which are often irreconcilable, mutually exclusive and in perpetual conflict: popular culture, spirituality and art. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, Faculty of Multimedia Communication. Awarded in many artistic competitions: "Kanon Twórców" (Canon of Creators), "Dolina Kreatywna" (Creative Valley) and the prestigious “Samsung Art Master”. Participant of many international and national exhibitions, including "Night Shots" in the Platform Gallery in Finnish Vaasa (2009), "Art must be beautiful" in the Poznań Stary Browar gallery (2008), "Girl Power!" in the Arsenał gallery in Białystok (2010), "Letni Nieletni" (Lukewarm Juveniles) in the Zachęta National Gallery of Art in Warsaw (2010), "Samsung Art Master" in the Center for Contemporary Art in Warsaw (2010), "The American Experience" in Juvenal Reis Studios in New York (2010), "Open City" in Lublin (2011), "8 dzień tygodnia" (8th Day of the Week) in the Galeria 13 Muz gallery in Szczecin, "Revolving Dysfunction" in Tbilisi (2011), “Polish Box” in Maxo Gallery in Barcelona, "Poland is not yet lost" in the MicaMoca Gallery in Berlin (2011), "Między rzeczywistością a nierzeczywistością" (Between Reality and Unreality) in the Manhattan gallery in Łódź (2012) and "Od Faraona do Lady Gagi" (From the Pharaoh to Lady Gaga) in the National Museum in Warsaw (2012). In 2010 she was an artist-in-residence in New York. She currently lives and works in Warsaw.
